First of all, the lighting quality of both DR650 and DR-Z400 is not that good. In that case, the Yamaha WR250R will remain a little ahead.
We really like the experiences while riding all three bikes. But the DR-Z 400 and DR650 did a little better performance on and off the road. On the other hand, the Yamaha WR250R will deliver you some boost on the dirt trail.
We have to mention that the suspension system of DR-Z400 is a little better than DR650. We are not saying that the DR650 is bad. Rather, it's that the DR-Z400 is a little more convenient while controlling the suspension. On the other hand, the Yamaha WR250R will deliver better performance when you are riding off the road.
Which bike should you pick?
If you are thinking about doing some upgrade after purchasing the bike, the DR650 or DR-Z400 should be the ideal option. Upgrading the bikes will ensure a way better performance than the stock item.
